Formerly known as “Let Your Net Down”, the Transit work of WFTR is an initiative to help provide support to people going through transition in their lives. This is one initiative that we invest so much in and has borne more fruit behind-the-scenes than publicly.

It comes in 4 streams:

Joshua Transit

Centred around emerging leaders who are either taking over from an experienced (outgoing leader) or who are coming into a leadership for the first time. However if you are and emerging leader interested in the new online introductory course to the Joshua Transit please complete the interest form with the following information:

  • Organisation/Church with whom you serve*
  • Are you in a paid position? Yes/No*
  • How many people are under your ministry or departmental oversight?*
  • Supporting statement (Please write here up to 100 words on why you would like to do this course)*

A member of out team will be in touch with you as soon as possible. *Please note that all questions above are mandatory.

If you are joining the special Aspire JTi3 online series for people working in difficult secular environments, we would normally require you to complete an online survey. Please check your email for this.

Couples in Transit

Centred around couples transitioning into marriage or newly married for less than 5 years. There are quite important preconditions prior to being considered for this stream (for more information, please register your interest).

If you are a couple interested in this Transit we require you to provide us with as much information as possible in the message field, including both your names & what stage your relationship is at. We would also be grateful to know which country you are from.

Our couples-in-transit run anything from 6 weeks to 3 months. Because of our need to give all the support that a couple need, this particular part of our transit work is almost always in-person. From time to time, we may organise special online sessions for couples every fortnight over a period of of 6-8 weeks but we tend to do this only with those who have either had prior in-person interactions with our staff and/or have previously attended our Managing Your World (MYW) online initiative. So whatever your interest, please let us know as much as you are able to when you complete the interest form.

Moses Transit

Centred around Churches or Organizations going through transition or “di-vision”. The initiative explores the 4 stages of transition and how to adjust, embrace and allow each to shape a church or an organisation. As an organisation, we have had the privilege of serving over 15 denominations over the past decade. Our work has involved support rural churches in England where there has been no minister or simply running workshops to help create room for a generation of young leaders to a church or organisation. Tapping into such experience, WFTR can commit up to 18months to supporting churches or organisations.

W-WAY Student Platform

If you are wanting to register for this new initiative, you would need to complete an interest form on this page, followed by a survey (which one of our student representatives will email you after receiving your interest form). Once you have done these two things, you will receive access to log into Zoom sessions (starting in Sept 2023) as well as access to materials to support you to thrive as a Christian in your learning environment. By learning environment, we mean anyone in (or aspiring to be in) college, university, apprenticeships or any other learning structures.
This initiative does not replace our strong value that every Christian should be part of a local gathering with others Christians (this can be a local church and/or a home group).
If you haven’t heard from us within 24hrs of completing an interest form and the online survey, please drop us an email at: transit@wftherock.org

    Hi! I'm Salome,
I'm 26 years old and I'm from Colombia, but I'm also half Austrian and currently living in Europe. I grew up in Colombia, but I've also travelled to many places.
I have two sisters, and some things that I enjoy are hiking, climbing, swimming, cooking/baking, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family.
I love taking care of babies and playing with children as well.

At the moment I'm in the second semester of my studies to be a midwife in Graz, Austria.
I also have previous experience working on a Medical Ship (Pacific Hope) for several years in New Zealand and the Pacific islands.
I first came to Water From The Rock (WFTR) to do the Excel Level 1 Internship which I completed in 2022.
