Formerly known as “Let Your Net Down”, the Transit work of WFTR is an initiative to help provide support to people going through transition in their lives. This is one initiative that we invest so much in and has borne more fruit behind-the-scenes than publicly.

It comes in 3 streams:

Joshua Transit

Centred around emerging leaders who are either taking over from an experienced (outgoing leader) or who are coming into a leadership for the first time.

Couples in Transit

Centred around couples transitioning into marriage or newly married for less than 3years. There are quite important preconditions prior to being considered for this stream (for more information, please register your interest).

Moses Transit

Centred around Churches or Organizations going through transition or “di-vision”. The initiative explores the 4 stages of transition and how to adjust, embrace and allow each to shape a church or an organisation. As an organisation, we have had the privilege of serving over 15 denominations over the past decade. Our work has involved support rural churches in England where there has been no minister or simply running workshops to help create room for a generation of young leaders to a church or organisation. Tapping into such experience, WFTR can commit up to 18months to supporting churches or organisations.

Internships linked to Transit

In addition to the above, we provide internships to some of the transit work above. For more information about our internships, please visit our “WFTR internships” page.

    Excel Logo

A mentorship programme that lasts between 3 months and 1 year. Content differs on each stream from working out how to use the resources (time, money, people) God has given us in a healthy way, to how to lead others well, to developing skills in global development. Some are residential, others are online and includes 1-2-1 sessions.
